About Me

Learn The Music From The Core & Become a Master

I love to inspire the students to be creative, create their own music and use their music to be a joy to others. I strive to build a strong foundation of developed skills in students of all ages. This is accomplished through practice, the curriculum as well as customized private lessons here at the studio. My focus is on Classical selections as that is the foundation of all types of music. Sacred music selections and Hymn improvisation are offered for those who are interested.

Piano Lessons Incude

Classical Music

My focus is on Classical selections as that is the foundation of all types of music.

Music Theory

Is incorporated into the lessons and curriculum, giving the students an understanding of music structure and terminology.

Group Lesson

Builds confidence in performance as they learn and practice proper performance etiquette.

Elementary

Piano Adventures is used to teach, theory, technique, and performance sprinkled with interactive teacher duets and ear training.

Junior High

A fun and enjoyable accelerated piano curriculum is used for the older beginner.

Adult

The adult curriculum teaches you to read and play music within a very short amount of time. You will be excited as you see yourself quickly and easily being able to play the piano.

Group Lessons

K-12 & Adult Group Lesson

Group lessons are an hour long and are given the last week of each month in lieu of the private lesson.  Each student will play a piece of their choosing for the group from their previous week of assigned music. This builds confidence in performance as they learn and practice proper performance etiquette.  It is motivating for them as they watch others perform, hear upcoming pieces, and observe their own progression in skill level.  Enjoying the community of friendship built during these lessons as well is an added benefit.

                  Pricing

                  A flat monthly fee of $140 will be due the first lesson of the month. This price remains the same for 5-week months, so there will be no makeup or rescheduled lessons. Should I need to cancel a lesson, one day will be scheduled for students to make up the lesson if they so choose.
                  An hour group lesson will be given on the last Monday of the month 4:30-5:30 in lieu of the private lesson. Each student will play a piece of their choosing for the group from their previous week of assigned music. This builds confidence in performance as they learn and practice proper performance etiquette. It is motivating for them as they watch others perform, hear upcoming pieces, and observe their own progression in skill level. Enjoying the community of friendship built during these lessons as well is an added benefit.
